These days’ guys have the monumental task of finding the perfect method and place to propose. This groom decided not only to recreate the campground where they met, but to do this on an epic scale. By enlisting the help of a wedding planner and prop rental company he was able not only to create the perfect camp ground to propose but also unbeknownst to his soon to be wife he had invited their friends and family as guests to stay and celebrate their engagement party/surprise wedding. All of this was done in the camping theme complete with elegant tents, a fishing boat, a Honeymoon suite, and of course S’mores. In a very unique use of that S’mores idea Blake proposed to Sammy by placing the engagement ring sandwiched inside the layers of graham crackers and gooey marshmallows, what a delicious treat. He had thought of everything including the dress.
After the surprise proposition (She said YES!) the guests entered the area to sit on vintage wood benches at the ceremony site which was decorated with a lacy screen door, an old bike with flowers spilling out of it which served as her bouquet and a pitch fork alter adorned with more bright cheery flowers. The reception tables were picnic tables with baskets spilling with more flowers, fruit, bread and wine. We think this proposal/engagement/wedding campout will provide glowing memories and a lifetime of adventure.
