What is a wedding but a couples love story? When I first met Kristina and Daniel I knew right away that theirs was a classic. Kristina told me her fiancé’s last name was actually Storey; how perfect! During the planning of any wedding the time flies and the tensions run high. I was really happy to be around for this beautiful couple to act as a sounding board and a resource for ideas. Kristina didn’t miss a single nicety, from the detailed wedding signs, to the vintage furniture, the delicious dessert bar (provided by Jodee’s Bakery) and the interactive I-Touch photo booth there was never a dull moment. One of the most priceless instances of the day was the “surprise” Horse and Carriage that arrived to pick-up the bride. Kristina’s mom had arranged and kept the secret (painstaking for me!) for months. It was well worth the effort. As the mother of the bride said to me the next day ‘that was singularly the most ethereal and sublime experience of my life, rounding the trees and seeing all the guests and the reception site was surreal, it was magical’. Being on other side of the experience I can honestly say I agreed.
With all the craziness of a wedding day it was such a relief to know that the talented and lovely Lilia Parker from LParker Photography was there to capture all the memorable moments. Be sure to check out her site for many more amazing images.
