This Spring I had the opportunity to coordinate the adorable and charming Alison DeJong’s (formerly of the Temecula Creek Inn) to her groom Brad and it was completely and utterly delightful.
The venue at Quail Haven Farm was the perfect backdrop for a Farm style wedding. The barn, the trellised patio and the thicket of trees creating its own ceremony site were enchanting. The owner of Quail Haven farms Lindy Waldman was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Alison left no detail unanswered. As documented by these powerful and captivating photographs provided by Lilia Parker of LParker Studios you can just see the absolute devotion and care that went into the planning of this farm style wedding. Lilia captured every nuance and is a complete pleasure to work with.
There were enough desserts provided by Mega Buns to satisfy even the sweetest appetites; yours truly ate one of each from cookies to mini pies to S’mores and more, no dessert was untouched. (Can you say tummy ache?) Most memorable were the elements of décor and the color palette. Alison chose the perfect array of soft pinks, bright coral and nature’s greens for her color scheme.
The flowers designed and arranged by Katrina O’Donnell from Custom Florals were truly without equal. She had every blossom of my favorite flower from Peonies’ (this years must have bloom) to Ranunculus. Katrina was very organized and professional and as you can see the theme was perfect for a springtime wedding. Alison is now working at The Estancia Inn of La Jolla and they are truly lucky to have such a talented young lady. And I am lucky to have been a part of her love story with such talented wedding professionals. Congratulations!!
